Over the last two years, the West Slope Casa Training Consortium has experienced an increasing decline in class registrations and an increasing financial loss.
Currently, the CAC certification rules are in the process of change. While the effective date appears solid for September, the implementation date by DORA could take up to an additional six months. This uncertainty makes it very difficult to schedule classes. Additionally, the content for the new courses to be required for CAC II & CAC III certification have not been fully defined and, as a result, there are no approved trainers for those classes.
With all of the above in mind, the West Slope Casa Board has decided that West Slope Casa Training Consortium will not offer any classes for FY 2011
